Data Protection Officer AirX
Het aanstellen van een DPO is in drie gevallen verplicht:
- Overheidsorganisaties- en organen met uitzondering van gerechten bij uitoefening van hun rechterlijke taken;
- Organisaties die hoofdzakelijk zijn belast met verwerkingen die vanwege hun aard, omvang en/of doeleinden regelmatige en stelselmatige observatie op grote schaal van betrokkenen vereisen;
- Wanneer één van de kernactiviteiten van een organisatie het grootschalig verwerken van (bijzondere) persoonsgegevens is of gegevens met betrekking tot strafrechtelijke veroordelingen en strafbare feiten.
Daar de activiteiten van AirX losstaan van alle drie deze criteria, hebben wij beslist geen DPO aan te stellen.

Your personal information will be processed by
For customer management based on the contractual relationship resulting from your order/purchase and, if you wish and consent hereto, for direct marketing purposes (for example, to offer you new products or services) based on our legitimate interest in entrepreneurship.
Should you not want your information to be processed in view of direct marketing, please inform us at email@example.com. At this address you can also always inquire which of your personal data details we process. You have the right to access, rectify or delete your personal data. In certain cases, you are also entitled to other rights, such as, for example, to object to us using your data, or to their portability.
If you do not agree with the way in which your information is processed, we inform you that you can contact the Belgian Privacy Commission (35 Rue de La Presse in 1000 Brussels). A more extensive overview of our policy on data processing can be found below this page.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
Purposes of the processing
AirX has a legal standing to process customers’ personal data for various reasons. The main one is that we collect and process customers’ personal data for customer and order management (customer administration, order/delivery follow-up, invoicing, solvency follow-up, profiling and the sending of marketing and personalized advertising for which the customer has given us their consent).
Legal foundation for the processing
Personal data is processed based on Article 6.1. (b) required for the implementation of an agreement of the General Data Protection Act.
Transfer to third parties
If required to achieve the set purposes, the customers’ personal data can be shared with third parties, such as
- Sales partners ( only Premium partners that AirX trust )
- External parties supporting us as processors (Bookkeeper)
- Group companies
which are linked directly or indirectly with AirX.
AirX guarantees that the personal data in their possession will not be sold, reused, rented or loaned to third parties.
Personal data processed for customer management will be stored for the time necessary to satisfy legal requirements (in terms of bookkeeping, among others), with a maximum of 5 years after the last contact.
Right to inspection, improvement, deletion, limitation, objection and transferability of personal data
AirX undertakes to keep the personal data of their customers confidential and ensures them the exercise of their rights. Notwithstanding the purpose or legal basis AirX uses to process their customers data, they have the following rights:
The customer has at all times the right to access and inspect their personal data. The customer has the right to have it improved/improve it should it be incorrect or incomplete, have it removed, limit its processing and object to the processing of their personal data based on Article 6.1 (f), including profiling based on said provisions.
Furthermore, the customer is entitled to obtain a copy (in a structured, standard and mechanically readable form) of their personal data and to have said personal data forwarded to another company.
In order to exercise the aforementioned rights, the customer is requested to:
– Adjust the settings of their customer account; and/or
– Send an e-mail to the following address: firstname.lastname@example.org
If a customer has given us their consent to process their data for any purpose, the customer also has the right to withdraw such consent at any time.
In addition, where the processing of your data is based on our lawful interest, the customer will also have the right to object to the processing of their data.
The customer is entitled to object free of charge to any processing of their personal data aimed at direct marketing.
The customer has the right to file a complaint with the responsible data protection regulatory authority, in particular, with the Belgian Privacy Protection Commission (35 Rue de la Presse, 1000 Brussels – email@example.com).
